An experiences program for insatiably curious kids
experiential edutainment with an african-american twist
First of all, this ain’t your mama’s day camp.
We create elevated, highly-immersive and extremely fun, educational experiences that provide a dash of African-American cultural and historical context related to distinct, ever-changing themes.
How The Madame X Academy Works:
Sign up for our exclusive email alerts
We’ll notify you when an experience drops. Our program is typically for girls 8-13 years old, but there may be exceptions depending on the experience and whether or not we’re offering a family or community pop up event.
2. Madame X designs a cool thematic experience and you sign up! It’s that simple!
Our experiences are fun, educational and immersive! They’re also based upon themes, and include a cultural lesson directly related to each, distinct experience. You’ll never know what’s churning in the mind of Madame X and what she’ll serve up next.
3. An exclusive email is delivered to your inbox with program dates, fees and information. Spaces will be very limited, so sign up, fast!
Email is how programs are announced, so it’s important that you sign up. The Grande dame, herself, is always available if you have any questions. She encourages conversation, and is even available for the occasional spot of tea!
4. We create many experiences within one experience
Within each experience, are numerous activities that represent a very specific focus or theme. We’re encouraging the development of renaissance kids who have hands-on experience doing cool things. Now, don’t get us wrong, we’re not landing rockets for Space X, but your child will have something to talk about at dinner and have something physical to show you that represents their valued time with us.
Family-friendly locations
The Madame X Academy’s experiences are typically located in lovely commercial neighborhoods close to freeways, restaurants and shopping, so that drop-off/pick-up is convenient for parents and caregivers. We always keep safety and ease of transportation in mind, when we create our experiences. Madame X always provides a hosted coffee meet & greet during registration and at the beginning of each experience, where she discusses the days activities to parents and their kids.
“Ladies, question everything.”
